Karaoke Maker - Free Online Tool | PivaBox

Remove vocals from songs using phase cancellation — create instrumental and vocal tracks. All processing in your browser

How to Make Karaoke Tracks Online

  1. Upload a stereo audio file — the tool works best with MP3 or WAV files where vocals are center-panned
  2. Adjust the Cancellation Strength slider (higher values remove more vocals but may affect audio quality) and toggle Preserve Bass to keep low frequencies intact
  3. Use the Preview controls to toggle between Original, Instrumental, and Vocals Only. When satisfied, download the Instrumental and/or Vocals as separate WAV files

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Karaoke Maker free?

Yes, PivaBox Karaoke Maker is completely free to use. There are no charges, subscriptions, or hidden fees. All audio processing runs locally in your browser using the Web Audio API.

Are my audio files uploaded to a server?

No. All vocal removal and audio processing happen entirely in your browser. Your audio files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy.

How does vocal removal work?

The tool uses phase cancellation — vocals in most commercial recordings are mixed to the center (equal in both left and right channels). By subtracting one channel from the other (L - R), center-panned audio is cancelled out, leaving only the stereo elements (instruments). The strength slider controls how much cancellation to apply, and the bass preserve option adds back low frequencies that are also often center-panned.
