How to Use Gitignore Generator

1. Browse the Categories section and check the patterns you want to include — Operating Systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ, etc.), and language-specific patterns (Node.js, Python, Go, Rust, Java, Ruby, General)
2. Optionally add Custom Entries by typing patterns into the custom input field and clicking Add. Remove any custom entry by clicking the × button
3. Review the live Preview of your .gitignore file, then click Copy to copy to clipboard or Download .gitignore to save the file to your device
